7. Delivery Times and Shipping Costs

 

Product delivery:

Products purchased from www.mdislandsupply.com are delivered to Europe and other international countries. Delivery will be made to the address provided by the customer at the time of ordering, which must be a valid residential or business address. The products will be sent together with the corresponding invoice.

 

In the event that any of the items are not available, a single shipment of the available products will be made. Delivery involves the transfer of ownership from MD Island Supply to the customer.

 

Shipping Methods:

We use UPS,TNT and DHL for deliveries in Europe and the rest of the world. If the recipient is not present at the time of delivery, the carrier will leave a note at the address provided. In the event of returns of unpicked products, MD Island Supply will notify the customer by email. Shipping costs for products not picked up will be charged to the customer according to the charges specified at the time of order. MD Island Supply reserves the right to change the transportation provider as long as it does not negatively impact the customer.

Delivery time:

 

- Spain and Portugal:

  Products purchased on www.mdislandsupply.com are delivered within approximately 2 to 4 business days after order processing (average time for products available after collection by carrier chosen during the purchase process, excluding weekends and holidays).

 

- Europe and the Rest of the World:

  Product delivery is estimated within 3 to 7 business days after order processing (average time for products available after collection by carrier chosen during the purchase process, excluding weekends and holidays).

 

Verification of the Order upon Receipt:

The customer must check the condition of the packaging and products upon receiving the package. Any anomalies, such as damage, missing products, damaged or opened packages, broken or defective items, must be reported on the day of delivery or, at the latest, within 48 hours of receipt. If the notice period expires on a Saturday, Sunday, holiday or non-business day, it will be extended to the next business day.



Additional Information on Delivery Delays

At MD Island Supply we strive to meet the delivery times indicated on our website. However, these deadlines should be considered estimates and any delay will not entitle the customer to compensation or cancellation of the order.

We undertake to deliver the products within a maximum period of thirty (30) calendar days from the conclusion of the sale.

 

If this deadline is not met, the customer may request MD Island Supply to deliver within a reasonable additional period by contacting customer service. Alternatively, the customer can terminate the contract by means of a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to:

If the delay is not due to force majeure, the contract will be considered terminated upon receipt of the registered letter and MD Island Supply will refund the customer the total amount paid, at the latest within thirty (30) days following the termination of the contract.

 

Shipping costs:

 

Costs associated with delivery, including packaging, transportation, and order tracking, are added to the total order amount and vary depending on the volume and weight of the package, as well as the shipping method selected during checkout.

 

Offers:

 

The offers are clearly highlighted on the website. The products on offer will be available until any modification is made, which will be notified at least one week in advance.

 

Right of Withdrawal:

 

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within a period of 14 days, in accordance with article 68 of RD 1/2007, of November 16. This period begins from the date of receipt of the product.

The company guarantees the possibility of canceling an order as long as the product has not left the warehouse. The customer has a period of 30 calendar days from receipt of the goods to terminate the contract and will receive a full refund, including shipping costs. Refund will be made within 30 days of returning the product, once inspected. This does not affect the customer's legal rights.

 

Returns on custom made products will not be accepted. 

 

MD Island Supply will refund the amount using the same payment method used in the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed. You can also opt for a product exchange or a refund in the form of a voucher.

All returned products must be in their original condition, with packaging and accessories intact. The customer is responsible if the product is not returned in original condition.

 

If you receive an incorrect product, the correct one will be sent at no additional cost to the customer. If the product arrives damaged or in poor condition, it will be collected and replaced at no additional cost.

Professionals

The provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, do not apply to professionals or businessmen. In these cases, the clauses relating to the right of withdrawal and/or return will not apply.

 

Conclusion of the Contract:

 

Contracts are considered concluded and valid under applicable law when consent and other necessary requirements are met. They will be governed by Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, the Civil Code, the Commercial Code, and other applicable regulations. If the client is a consumer, the contract will be deemed to have been concluded in his or her usual place of residence. If the client is a professional, it will be considered concluded in the location of the company's registered office.

Modification:

 

The company reserves the right to modify the contract conditions in the event of economic, commercial, regulatory changes or extraordinary circumstances. The modifications will not affect previously concluded contracts.

 

Liability Regime:

 

The company will not be responsible for problems arising from the lack of access to the Internet or electricity caused by external or unforeseen factors. It is not responsible for delays or non-compliance due to force majeure, in accordance with article 1,105 of the Civil Code. The deadlines will be extended for the duration of the force majeure event and, if it lasts more than three months, either party may terminate the contract.
