The B920 series AIS transceivers feature a built-in GPS antenna. In most cases, this will work fine as long as the unit is mounted vertically and not directly under metal structures or cables. If your installation is compromised by metal structures or cables, or if your hull is constructed of metal, the GPS100 remote antenna is recommended.
